We believe a bracelet worn against the skin every day should be made of things you can name. Our approach to sourcing is simple: natural materials, traceable origins, and a long-term relationship with the people who make them.
Natural materials, all the way through.
Every Herb Sense bracelet is made from real botanicals — sandalwood, agarwood, dried flowers, aromatic roots and resins. Even the binder that holds each bead together is natural: Makko powder, made from the bark of the Machilus tree. No synthetic glue, no plastic fillers, no artificial fragrance. If our beads are made of the purest herbs, it would make no sense to hold them together with anything less.
A long-standing workshop partnership.
Our bracelets are hand-pressed in small batches by a traditional botanical workshop in Henan, China — a region with over 1,500 years of herbal craftsmanship. We work with the same artisans for every release, building a relationship based on consistency, quality, and trust rather than chasing the lowest price.
Small batches, less waste.
We make our bracelets in small batches rather than mass-producing stock that may never sell. It means each release is limited, but it also means less waste, fresher materials, and more attention paid to every single piece.
Traceable and honest.
We tell you where our products are made and what they're made of. Designed in Melbourne, hand-pressed in Henan. Where a formula comes from an old recipe, we say so. We'd rather be honest about our origins than dress them up.
We're a young brand, and we're still learning. As we grow, we're committed to deepening these relationships and finding new ways to source responsibly — and to telling you honestly about the journey along the way.
